WESTport straight-sided spline plug gages inspect internal straight-sided splines, where the tooth flanks run parallel rather than following an involute profile. The GO member verifies full-form fit; the NO GO member guards individual space width.
Standards & setup
Built to the straight-sided standard called out on your print, such as DIN 5482, or to your drawing. Straight-sided gages are not interchangeable with involute spline gages — confirm the tooth form on the drawing before ordering.
