WESTport serration plug gages inspect internal serrations — the multiple equally spaced teeth that give positive engagement between mating components. The GO member confirms the serrated bore will assemble with its mating part; the NO GO member guards the upper dimensional limit. Both together give a fast functional check without measuring every tooth.

Serration or spline-

Serrations and splines are different tooth forms and each needs its own gage. If the drawing calls out a serration, an involute or straight-sided spline gage will not inspect it correctly — always confirm the tooth form on the print first.

Built to SAE J498 and DIN serration standards, or to your drawing. To quote we need the engineering specification, the number of teeth, tooth dimensions, class of fit, and whether the serration is internal or external.
