WESTport straight-sided spline ring gages inspect external straight-sided splined shafts for functional fit and dimensional conformance. Straight-sided splines have parallel tooth flanks rather than an involute profile, so they require gages cut specifically for that tooth form.

Standards & setup

Built to the straight-sided standard called out on your print, such as DIN 5482, or to your drawing. Straight-sided gages are not interchangeable with involute spline gages — confirm the spline design on the drawing before ordering. Compatible with taper master plug gages for setup and verification.
