Taper ring gages check the external taper — the shank of a tool, arbor or spindle that seats into a tapered bore. The ring verifies the rate of taper and the seating position, so the mating parts make full contact rather than bearing on one end.

Taper standards we supply

  • Morse — machine-tool shanks for drills, reamers and centres.
  • Jarno — constant taper rate across the numbered series.
  • Brown & Sharpe — shallow taper for milling collets and arbors.
  • National Machine — steep taper for quick, clean tool release.

How they are supplied
