WESTport helical spline ring gages inspect external helical splines — teeth that follow a helix around the shaft rather than running straight along it. Each gage is manufactured for the specific helix angle and spline specification of the part being inspected.

Standards & setup

Manufactured to ANSI B92.1, ANSI B92.2M, ISO 4156, DIN 5480 and related standards, or to your print. Because the gage is cut to the part's helix angle, that angle and hand must be specified on the request. Compatible with taper master plug gages for setup and verification.
