Overview

The Fowler Xtra-Range 4"–12" Dial Bore Gage extends bore measurement into substantially larger internal diameters while keeping straightforward mechanical operation.

This is a useful complement to the common 1.4"–6" models rather than a replacement for them. Customers measuring larger housings, cylinders, castings and machined bores get a wide measuring range without moving immediately into much more expensive specialized bore-gaging systems.

Applications

Suited to engine and compressor work, hydraulic cylinders, large castings and any machined bore between 4" and 12" where a comparative dial reading at .0005" is sufficient.
