Custom Spline Gage

Custom spline gages inspect spline configurations that standard gages cannot satisfy. Each one is designed from your drawing or engineering specification to verify the dimensional accuracy and functional fit of a specific internal or external spline.

What we build

Custom work is quoted as plug gages, ring gages, master gages, setting gages, or special inspection gages — the design follows the spline configuration and the inspection method called out on your print. Involute, straight-sided, serration and helical forms, inch or metric.

• Complete engineering drawing or specification showing the spline geometry
• Number of teeth, pitch, pressure angle and class of fit
• Whether the spline is internal or external
• Dimensional requirements and the certification you need
