Mark-10 Series 3 Digital Force Gauge

Mark-10 Series 3 digital force gauge with programmable set points, analog load bar graph and reversible aluminium housing

Mark-10 Series 3 Digital Force Gauge

Regular price $0.01 Sale

The Mark-10 Series 3 sits between the entry-level Series 2 and the advanced Series 5: ±0.3% full-scale accuracy, a 2,000 Hz sampling rate, programmable set points with pass/fail indication, and capacities reaching down to 0.12 lbF (0.5 N) for delicate work the Series 2 range does not cover.

Set Points and Pass/Fail

The feature that changes day-to-day use is programmable set points. Enter the upper and lower limits from the print and the gauge indicates pass or fail directly — an operator does not have to read a number and compare it to a tolerance, which is where hand inspection loses time and gains errors. The analog load bar graph alongside the digits shows how close to the limit a reading sits.

Choosing a Capacity

Accuracy is a percentage of full scale, so specify the smallest capacity that comfortably exceeds your largest expected force rather than the largest capacity available. Eleven capacities run from 0.12, 0.25 and 0.5 lbF for low-force work up through 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 lbF.

Software

MESUR Lite is included, which tabulates readings and exports to Excel — enough for most inspection records without a separate data-acquisition project.

Series 3 or a Higher Series-

Move to Series 5 for ±0.1% accuracy, 7,000 Hz sampling, 1,000-point data memory with statistics, capacities to 2,000 lbF, and RS-232 / Mitutoyo Digimatic / analog outputs. Move to Series 7 for 14,000 Hz continuous data capture, break detection and internal storage of full test curves. If peak force against a limit is all that is required, Series 2 is the economical choice.

Applications

Spring rate and spring force testing, peel and pull-off testing, switch and button actuation force, medical device and packaging force checks, production pass/fail gating, incoming inspection.
