Every set of 34 pieces or larger comes with a FREE maintenance kit which includes gage block cleaner, gage block preservative and a block of lint-free wiping tissues. Certified Accuracy...all gage blocks carry National Institute of Standards and Technology traceability certification furnished free with each set and individual blocks. They comply with ASME B89.1.9-2002 and every block receives 6 individual inspections to assure parallelism, flatness, and size within Federal Specifications for its grade. Separate certification listing the actual gage block size deviation from nominal size is also provided free with all sets.
Dimensional Stability...A special process of sub-zero-to-tempering-heat stabilizing cycles imparts near-permanent
size.
Superior Wearability...Stabilized chromium steel (52100) goes into all gage blocks. Stress relieved and heat treated to a uniform high 66 RC hardness assures superior wear life and linear co-efficient of expansion nearly identical to parts made of steel.
Steel Gage Block Sets-”Inch-” with 81 Pieces is comprised of the four basic increment series: .0001, .001, .050 and 1.000". This set meets the general all-around gaging requirements of most plants....makes over 120,000 different measurements. A 92 compartment case will accommodate additional blocks as needed. The set would become more flexible with the addition of wear blocks especially when used by more than one inspector. Individual serial numbers for ease in identification.
